With just two days to go before one of the most prestigious tournaments in pro wrestling, the Chris Candido Memorial J-Cup Tournament, National Wrestling Superstars received word that last years winner and current NWS Jersey Shore champion Myke "G.Q." Quest was advised by doctors to withdrawal from the tournament due to an injury sustained at last weeks Manville event where he wrestled Dave Cole and wound up with 8 staples to the back of his head.

NWS management contacted and signed Devon Moore to take the place of the injured Quest. Moore, who has been in the J Cup semi finals for the past 3 years and was a last minute replacement in this years King and Queen of the Ring Tournament feels that this is his opportunity to show the wrestling world he is at his prime and promises everyone that just like the last minute replacement in the King and Queen where he came out of nowhere to win that tournament with his partner Alicia, lightning will strike twice and warns everyone to stay out of his way because he won't be stopped.

In addition to Moore, other participants include Chris D'Andrea, Mike Dennis of the Jock Mafia, Joey Janela, JD Smoothie, Pat Buck, Nick Talent, Too Hot Steve Scott, Nicky Oceans, Alex Payne, Frightmare and the NWS debut of Hurricane John Walters.

In addition there will be a 13 man over the top rope battle royal with the winner taking on former TV Legend Kamala the Ugandan Giant

The event will be held at the Kenilworth Veterans Center, 33 South 21st St in Kenilworth this Friday, May 14 at 7;45pm. To charge tickets call 732-888-1704. Remaining seats, if any, will be available an hour before show time.
